Very Narrow Aisle Cantilever Racking
Very narrow aisle racking systems are the perfect solution for storage facilities with space constraints, but where high-density storage is required. A very narrow aisle racking system is a type of pallet racking system that is designed to optimize storage capacity by reducing the width of aisles between racks. This allows for more racks to be installed in a smaller space while still providing easy access to each pallet. The design of VNA racking allows for maximum storage density while still providing easy access to stored items. This is achieved by utilizing a narrow aisle layout and side-loading forklifts for picking operations.
VNA (very narrow aisle) cantilever racking systems are the same as conventional cantilever racking systems in many ways with the same storage characteristics, but with the addition of guide rails along the aisle. As the name suggest, narrow aisles between the rack system eliminates storage footprint with narrower aisle for side-loading forklifts. In this instance, an end-of-aisle protector is welded to protect the aisle entrance from forklift impacts and for safer navigation.
